Story….Barot House is a thriller, unlike any other Hindi film I have seen in a long time. The movie is about one Barot family. On the outset, they seem like any normal Indian family but the unfortunate events that they face turn their lives upside down and what follows next is twisted, eerie and disturbing. 

First time director Bugs Bhargava has done a remarkable job in helming such a complex film. This is not your run of a mill Bollywood thriller, so kudos to him for delivering a shocker. Being a massive movie buff, rarely it happens these days that a movie catches me off guard but, Barot House has done just that. It’s quite hard to talk about anything in specific without giving away the spoilers but let’s try. I was bowled over by the second half of the film. There are some problems in the initial portion of the film but more on that later.
